1. Service
PageDate provides a browser extension and optional API for detecting publish dates on web content. The service is provided “as is” without warranty.
2. API access
- API keys are issued at our discretion after registration review.
- Keys are personal — do not share or resell them.
- Daily scan limits apply (currently 200 full scans/day).
- We may suspend keys that abuse the service (scraping, reselling, automated bulk use).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use PageDate to violate website terms of service, bypass paywalls illegally, or harass individuals. You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws.
4. Accuracy
Detected dates may be inferred or incorrect. Do not rely on PageDate as the sole source for legal or journalistic verification.
5. Chrome Web Store
Use of the extension is also subject to Google Chrome Web Store policies.
